We are seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator (FCC) to join Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools (SAES).
SAES is a well-established American curriculum school system owned and operated by Saudi Aramco, that began in 1944 as a one-room schoolhouse. Today, the district is comprised of seven schools in four beautiful residential communities, with an enrollment of over 4,000 expatriate children, who represent more than 80 nationalities. The FCC will work as part of the school site administration team, overseeing safety and project management duties that directly impact between 300-1,200 students, and between 50-100 company employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for facility plant space between 5,000-20,000 square meters (or approximately 50-200 classrooms/office spaces).
The FCCs basic roles include: assist with the planning and implementation of the SAES Safety Management System at a school site, provide project management of construction and maintenance projects, and ensure compliance with Aramco Work Permit expectations.
As the successful candidate you will hold a bachelors degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or environmental science, or in a related field. You must have two years of related safety/operational experience and/or training. Experience in construction project management would be beneficial for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Conduct facility inspections of school grounds, equipment and building systems, and assist with the rectification of identified deficiencies.
Provide support and guidance in terms of engineering standards, IBC, and NFPA requirements on all facility maintenance, proposed facility modifications, and remediation activities resulting from facility inspections and major audits.
Ensure quality control of all maintenance activities, installations and commissioning of facility equipment.
Provide Project Management support for all major maintenance projects, including the development of the scope of work, design reviews, quality assurance, construction oversight, and final acceptance.
Maintain an accurate equipment inventory and supervise all established preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and test & inspection programs.
